Madeleine Andreas is a sophomore studying Biological Sciences and Anthropology in the Sorin Scholars program at the University of Notre Dame. During her college career, Madeleine discovered a passion for cellular and molecular biology, as well as an interest in anthropology.
She is also involved in serving the Notre Dame community as Academic Commissioner for the Farley Hall Council, and as Service Commissioner for the Compassionate Care in Medicine Club. In addition to her service to the Notre Dame community, Madeleine completed a summer service learning program working with the homeless in Santa Ana, California, documenting public health issues that those experiencing homelessness face in their daily lives.
Outside of academics, Madeleine plays violin in the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra. After graduation Madeleine plans to pursue a career in medicine.
