2010-‘11 Won the Midwest championship at Ohio University with a win over old rival Miami, OH who had a huge upset in the semis over GVSU. We received an automatic bid to Nationals while Miami took our host bid. Notre Dame finished ranked 7th at the National Championship Tournament and in the final national poll of 2011. In the National quarterfinals Oregon scored on a shot as time expired on a direct shot outside of 5M when a rookie ref made a questionable call. Led to much debate amongst coaches and officials. Ali Durkin was named 1st team all-tournament and Eileen Flanagan was named to the 2nd team. Eileen Flanagan, Ali Durkin and Maisie O’Malley were named first team All-Midwest. Erin Gibson and Victoria Anglin were named second team. Ali Durkin was named Midwest Conference MVP. We also had 3 players named All American: Ali Durkin and Eileen Flanagan 1st team, and Maisie O’Malley Honorable Mention. We were 0-2 against Varsity competition and 18-4 against club teams. Team Captains were Eileen Flanagan, Ali Durkin and Liz Casazza.
