Season Recap:
2017-’18 Lost in the Midwest championship game at Rolf’s to Lindenwood. It was the team’s 19th championship game appearance in 20 years and 21st overall. We had two players named first team All-Midwest, Senior Sammy Henze and Junior Kelly Fricke. Junior GK Emily Dufner and Sophomore Clare Durkin were named second team. Coughlin was named Midwest Coach of the Year. We also had 2 players named All American: Junior Kelly Fricke was named 1st Team All American and Senior Sammy Henze was named Honorable Mention All American. We did not play any Varsity competition depending on how you classify Lindenwood, we did not play against Masters club teams and went 11-9 against college club teams. Our highest ranking during the season was #16, our final ranking after not qualifying for Nationals was #17. Team Captains were Sammy Henze, Katie Vahl and Kelly Fricke.
