Notre Dame Women’s Water Polo Team was the 2000-’01 Midwest Champion and placed 6th at Club Nationals. Their highest ranking during the season was the poll that came out right before nationals that had Notre Dame ranked 3rd in the country. This year marked the team’s first Spring Break trip. Lauren Kuzinar, Liz Parolin, Brigette Alge and Lisa Thomas were all named First Team All Conference . Margo Klosterman and Allie Geinko were Second Team All Conference. Lauren was named the Midwest Conference MVP and was also Second Team at Nationals. Head coach Brian Coughlin was Midwest Coach of the Year. Team Captains were Lisa Thomas, Lauren Kuzinar, and Liz Parolin.
