2012-’13 Won the Midwest championship at West Ottawa HS with a 13-8 win over Grand Valley State University. We received an automatic bid to Nationals. Notre Dame finished 9th at the National Championship Tournament (after a stunning and heartbreaking opening round loss to Middlebury after being up 4-1 in the second quarter) and 9th in the final national poll of 2013. We had no players named to the NCCC all-tournament teams. Victoria Anglin, Ellen Dowling, Rachael Glenister and GK Sarah Fleming were named first team All-Midwest. Colleen Fricke was named second team. Sr. Victoria Anglin was named Midwest Conference MVP. We also had 2 players named All American: Victoria Anglin 2nd team, and Rachael Glenister Honorable Mention. We were 0-1 against Varsity competition, 0-2 vs. Masters Teams and 28-4 against club teams. Our highest ranking during the season was #4 coming off of spring break and we were #6 going into Nationals. Of our four club losses three were to final four teams (UC Davis and UCF who met for the National championship and Michigan who we then came back to beat at Miami). In the final CWPA poll of the year we recorded wins over Nos. 4,5,10,11,12,15,17,18,19,20 vs. losses to 1,2,4,8. Team Captains were Victoria Anglin, Adi Austgen, and Rachel Glenister.
