It’s that time of the year again— the sweet spot in mid-August during which every television commercial features a troupe of fashionable grade schoolers doing choreographed dances to show off their new Old Navy jeans. It’s back to school!
First year Mendoza MBAs are already on campus for orientation and leadership workshops. I trust that they will be the best of friends by the time our grizzled second-years return at the end of the month. Speaking of our second-years, how was your summer?
So much has happened over the past fourteen weeks and we at the Irish Echoes would love to hear about it! In fact, we are currently looking for second year students who would be willing to write short blog posts about their summer internships.
Were you a consultant? Great!
Product manager? Wonderful!
Masked vigilante? Sure, why not!
Also, we are not merely interested in your summer employment. Did you stumble upon some personal revelation? Do you have a new outlook on life? Did you get married? (I did).
If you are at all interested in sharing these experiences on the blog, please feel free to shoot me an email at jpelzer1@nd.edu. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the final weeks of break!
