Notes: This production of Beckett’s apocolyptic drama has received solid endorsement from the author himself who thinks so highly of the company that they have been granted permission to present any of his works without royalty. The workshop founder and director, Rick Cluchey, only recently assisted Beckett in the playwright’s own production of the famed Waiting for Godot at the Schiller Theatre in West Berlin. This production of Endgame will be presented next year on Beckett’s 70th birthday at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
