Note: Anton Juan’s past directorial efforts have included The Laramie Project (2005), Salome (2006, with guest artist Olga Natividad in the title role), The Threepenny Opera (2007), The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus (2008), Guernica (2009), and Antígona Furiosa (2012). With this production of Shadows of the Reef, Juan brought his combined work as a playwright and director to the Notre Dame stage for the first time.

Note: Intimate Apparel (2003) is the first play by Lynn Nottage (born 1964) produced by FTT and is Kevin Dreyer’s third directorial contribution to FTT seasons. Known most notably as the resident professional lighting designer over the past two decades, Professor Dreyer first directed at Notre Dame his own translation of José Triana’s Night of the Assassins in November 1991 (performed in the Lab Theatre in Washington Hall). More recently in the fall of 2011, he directed Anne García-Romero’s Provenance in the Philbin.
