The photograph is a view of the Christ, The Redeemer Monument and the Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of the Seven Wonders of the World the monument is a must-go spot do travelers upon visiting Rio. Along with the beautiful statue, the view of the Corcovado is breathtaking with the Sugarloaf Mountain and the Botafogo Bay among some of the places you can see from up there.
Notre Dame sophomore Benjamin Rascon-Grazia will be learning Portuguese in Brazil during the summer of 2022 as one of the SLA grant recipients.
