Antigua is the capital of the Sacatepéquez Department of Guatemala. Above is a picture of the Arco de Santa Catalina, built in the 17th century. The arch was a walkway that connected the Santa Catalina convent to the school. The clock on the top was added in the 1830s.
This year, Sophomore Juliet Hall will be studying Spanish in Antigua.
